Nine Beneficiaries of the AOGC acquired professional certifications in pipefitting under a ‘Becoming a Master Instructor (BMI) Programme
Nine lecturers from various technical institutes and technical universities who were sponsored by the Accelerated Oil and Gas Capacity Building (AOGC) Programme have acquired professional certifications in pipefitting under a ‘Becoming a Master Instructor (BMI) Programme,’ Welding and Millwright/Mechanical Technician ship at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Canada over a period of 11 months.
The training of the nine, will in many ways, reduce expenditure incurred in the upstream petroleum industry and a means by which local content and local participation in the industry is further deepened.
